Job Description - Cabinet Draftsperson
Work collaboratively with the Dlux team to:
- Visit project sites to take critical measurements and lay out cabinets/plumbing/electrical
- Consult with designers/customers on design and materials
- Prepare drawings for review and approval by customer using Mozaik design software
- Review appliances/plumbing fixtures specs and integrate into drawings
- G code approved files for CNC use
- Track projects through manufacturing to ensure accuracy/quality
- Order materials specific to each project
- Prepare paperwork for shipping and for the installers
Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
- Proficient in the use of computers
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Immediate knowledge of the industry.
- Background as a cabinetmaker would be considered an asset.
- Experience using Mozaik software would be helpful but not necessary. Training willbe provided
