CM2 supports CRM and Digital marketing activities at General Motors of Canada Company. CM2 is aligned with the vehicle sales and service activities of GM. The CRM & Digital Marketing Manager role is a full-time position within the marketing team at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa.

The Position
As the CRM & Digital Marketing Director, you will guide strategy and development of multi-channel relationship marketing programs at GM. This includes customer lifecycle programs, and short-term retail programs, deployed across email, digital, social, SMS, direct mail, and retail (digital signage) channels.
As a senior member of a multi-disciplinary CRM team, you will interface with marketing stakeholders at GM, advertising agencies, suppliers and partners that support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns to drive consumer engagement and sales.
Specific Requirements and Responsibilities
- 4+ years of solid direct marketing experience with leading edge CRM/Digital tools & processes
- BA/Business degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field
- Experience as the primary client contact for marketing initiatives
- CRM/Digital experience with both client and agency is preferred, in the automotive sector
- Knowledge of CRM, Digital, and Retail functional areas and processes; including production, creative, account management, project management, and data
- Ability to write inspiring briefs for the creative team
- Strategic marketing and analytical skills, including solving business and brand challenges
- Ability to collaborate with team members and find effective solutions to project or resource issues
- Ability to identify the stakeholders needed for a project, and lead regular project status meetings with the stakeholders
- Experience developing project plans
- Ability to partner well with clients, suppliers, partners, and team members
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
- Experience leading client projects in a technical and/or marketing environment
- Ability to write communications to various stakeholders (Dealers, GM Field Staff, GM Corporate Marketing) announcing the launch of new marketing initiatives
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate managerial courage when appropriate

This is a hybrid remote position, with occasional activities onsite at the GM offices in Oshawa and Markham.

Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
