Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of desserts according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage food handling procedures carefully to ensure safety and quality in every order
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing serving lines and ensuring timely service
Requirements
- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment
- Restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
