Packaging Associate @ Lake of Bays Brewing Company
In this position, you will be responsible for operating packaging equipment and a hand pump cart to fulfill orders and packing pallets. This role may be scheduled for shifts in Baysville, Gravenhurst and Bracebridge.
What YOU will be doing:
- Operating canning and bottling equipment safely and responsibly
- Pulling inventory, palletizing and wrapping products and loading onto delivery trucks
- Lifting and moving products for packaging of pallets and online orders
- Operating and maintaining hand/power tools and packaging equipment
- Processing required paperwork to ensure accurate records are kept of all shipments
- Contributing ideas on ways to improve or optimize packaging procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area while always following Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Set up/run/cleanup of all packaging equipment
- Assisting in the delivery of raw materials and finished goods as needed
- Preparation of packaging supplies and accurately maintain packaging logs
- General organizing and cleaning of the packaging area and equipment
What YOU bring to the table:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Valid G License with a clear driver’s abstract
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to reliably commute to and from locations
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 55lbs and manipulate 160lbs
