Job Description
As a Senior Graphic Designer at MEDUCOM, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team focused on developing and delivering communication programs of the highest quality. The role will include design work and production support in collaboration with creative team members. As part of our creative department, you will play an important growing role in our company working closely with our medical and client service team members. Within the Creative team, you will work diligently to uphold the team’s core purpose: to represent creative catalysts, elevating our work with visual design and innovative approaches that challenge the boundaries of our capabilities and push our services to new heights.
Primary Accountabilities
· Partner with medical, client service, and external client teams to conceptualize and execute compelling creative solutions for medical education programs, scientific meetings, virtual events, and omnichannel initiatives.
· Design and produce high-quality branded materials, promotional assets, educational resources, digital communications, website graphics, and customizable templates using Adobe Creative Cloud.
· Lead the development, design, and formatting of sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, including the creation and regeneration of scientifically accurate figures, tables, charts, and infographics that effectively communicate complex medical content.
· Create print-ready and digital production assets while ensuring brand consistency, visual excellence, and adherence to client and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with medical writers and client service teams to develop polished client presentations, new business proposals, and strategic communications materials.
· Edit and produce video content and multimedia assets for virtual meetings, digital campaigns, and online educational initiatives.
· Design, build, and maintain simple websites and digital resource hubs to support medical education programs and house presentations, videos, and other multimedia content.
· Contribute creative direction and innovative design ideas during brainstorming sessions, helping to elevate the quality and impact of agency deliverables.
· Present design concepts with confidence, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders and clients to deliver refined, high-quality creative solutions.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and ensuring consistent quality across all deliverables.
· Foster strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with designers, medical writers, client service teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
· Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
· Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across print, digital, and presentation design.
· Minimum 3 years of progressive graphic design experience within a design studio, creative agency, medical communications agency, or corporate communications environment.
· Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, with a solid understanding of design production and digital asset development.
· Advanced PowerPoint design capabilities considered an asset.
· Highly creative with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and visually compelling work.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative and proactive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently while effectively incorporating feedback from internal teams and clients.
· Demonstrated ability to interpret and maintain brand standards across a variety of deliverables.
· High level of professionalism, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality work on time.
· Experience working with scientific, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical education content is considered an asset.
· Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and support continuous improvement.
