We are an established medical clinic in Kingston undergoing an exciting new transition! We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Esthetician / Laser Technician to join our team. The successful candidate has great interpersonal skills, is self-motivated and has a genuine interest in continued learning. We will provide treatment-specific training to the successful candidate.
Education:
Grade 12
A valid diploma or certificate in medical esthetics or laser therapy
What We Are Looking For:
Exceptional customer service and people skills
Comfortable performing consultations and skin assessments with a sound knowledge of facial and skin anatomy and creating customized treatment plans
Experience with advanced laser and energy-based treatments treating unwanted hair, acne, vascular lesions, skin rejuvenation, body contouring, pigmentation, chemical peels.
Ability to perform advanced skin treatments and to explain and sell clinical skincare products to help clients achieve and maintain the best results
Ability to recommend appropriate treatments and products based on skin conditions
Great verbal and written communication with critical thinking skills with a friendly, caring personality

Support Overall Clinic Operations keeping treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked; actively assisting with secondary, non-aesthetic clinical duties as needed to support your teammates and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Experience with client reception duties, Microsoft office suite, electronic scheduling and record keeping an asset
