LawyerConnection (a subsidiary of Market Your Firm) is a fully integrated legal marketing, screening and referral service. We handle the client referral process from lead generation, to lead screening, to client matching, lawyer referral, and client retention. We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time and effective client screening and placement. At Market Your Firm, we strive to ensure that lawyers are able to grow their client base and legal practices and for potential client's to obtain effective legal solutions.

Established in 2011, LawyerConnection is a Ontario leader in legal marketing and lead generation. Through that we are looking to expand our business in Ontario and abroad and are hiring a client service intake specialist take the lead in fielding client calls and screening and referring cases. This role is highly interactive with flexible hours and a work at home setting.

In this role, you will:

  • Be consistently available and eager to intake client calls
  • Take down notes of the key details of the client’s case
  • Ask questions to help focus the call on key case details
  • Direct conversation to screening client case
  • Begin to examine whether the legal cases are potentially viable
  • Continue sales pitch explaining how our referral service will assist the client lead
  • Provide preliminary direction to the client on next steps
  • Coordinate with our potential lawyer matches with the viable client cases
  • Effectively communicate with lawyers on key aspects of the case
  • Handle a three way conference call between the client and lawyer and effectively transfer the call to the lawyer to better handle the case
  • Act as client correspondent throughout ensuring the client is satisfied from beginning to end
  • Organize CRM system to keep track of incoming leads
  • Work collectively with internal and external team members to ensure client needs are taken care of

  • Are patient and empathetic. The individual clients calling in have often been in stressful situations and we are here to help try manage that situation and make it a bit less stressful
  • Take attention to detail and can take down and decipher the key details of the client's case
  • Have the confidence to handle client leads and effectively

Keys skills and attributes to be effective at this position:

  • Amazing communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
  • Experience with phone answering sales and/or phone answering customer service
  • Previous experience working for startups
  • Quick Typer with basic computer skills
  • Legal Knowledge always helps
  • Flexible Timing - Willing to make calls in evening and in weekends when the leads come in
  • Must have Internet and Computer at home and quiet place to make calls

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 /hour
