Job Summary
D.V.L. MECHANICAL is looking for motivated and experienced Licensed Plumbers and advanced-level Apprentices (4+ years of experience) to join our growing team. We are a reputable, fast-paced plumbing company serving [residential/commercial/mixed-use clients] across the GTA.

Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Help assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects to ensure timely completion.
- Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, including HVAC components.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on job sites.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and/or commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of plumbing systems
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Complete daily job reports and documentation
- Mentor junior apprentices (if applicable)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge; familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Experience using power tools is advantageous; training will be provided for those new to the tools.
- Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Previous experience as a carpenter or in construction may be beneficial but is not required.
- Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber (State of [Your State]) – required for licensed applicants
- Apprentice applicants must have 4+ years of verifiable experience
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for long periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor
