About the Role: Level A Tailor / Seamstress
We are looking for a highly experienced, Level A Tailor or Seamstress who possesses an advanced technical mastery of garment construction. This is not a basic sewing position; we require a seasoned specialist capable of handling our most complex and delicate commissions, from high-end bridal couture to structured bespoke menswear.
Expertise Required:
- Bridal & Formal Wear: Mastery of wedding gowns and evening dresses, including intricate lace, multi-layer hems, and complex bustle systems.
- Menswear & Suits: Expert tailoring for men’s suits, including shoulder adjustments, sleeve venting, and precision tapering.
- Hardware & Outerwear: Proficient in technical repairs, specifically high-quality jacket zipper replacements and structural outerwear adjustments.
- Diverse Fabric Handling: Proven ability to work with everything from delicate silks and chiffons to heavy wools and leathers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complex Alterations: Execute a full range of expert adjustments, including hemming, resizing, and total garment reconstruction.
- Precision Fitting: Take exact measurements and markings to ensure a flawless, custom fit for every client.
- Industrial Mastery: Operate and maintain industrial sewing equipment, including sergers, overlockers, and specialized tailoring tools.
- Quality Leadership: Maintain rigorous quality control to ensure every finished piece meets "Level A" standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record: Extensive professional experience in a high-end alteration or tailoring setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of garment architecture and advanced tailoring techniques.
- Efficiency: Ability to produce high-quality results independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Ability to work on-site at our West Island (Montreal) location.
- Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French is a strong asset.

Nous recherchons un(e) spécialiste en retouches de niveau A possédant une maîtrise technique avancée. Ce poste exige une expertise confirmée pour traiter nos commandes les plus complexes, de la haute couture nuptiale aux complets pour hommes.
Expertise Requise :
- Mariage et Tenues de Soirée : Maîtrise des robes de mariée et de soirée (dentelle complexe, ourlets multicouches, systèmes de traîne).
- Complets pour Hommes : Ajustements de précision sur les complets, incluant les épaules, les manches et le cintrage.
- Manteaux et Quincaillerie : Expertise en remplacement de fermetures éclair (zippers) et réparations structurelles de manteaux.
Avantages :
