Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems, accurately handling cash and card transactions.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during busy periods.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
Skills
- Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
