Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to meet performance standards.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism using excellent communication skills.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to increase store visibility and customer engagement.
- Assist in budgeting, sales management, and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and maintaining organizational records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic bookkeeping is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Experience in negotiation, marketing, recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of retail pricing strategies, purchasing processes, and administrative procedures.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
