We are seeking a Denture Production Supervisor to join our North York location. This role oversees the digital and analog denture teams, incoming quality control, assists delegating daily production work, and serves as a go-to resource for technicians and admin staff. The ideal candidate is a hands-on denture professional who is highly organized, communicates clearly, and works well across departments — someone who takes shifting priorities in stride and works well with a variety of personalities and communication styles.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the daily denture production workflow, including incoming case review, task assignment, priority setting, and follow-up
- Triage cases based on due dates, complexity, technician skill set, production capacity, and department needs
- Delegate work clearly and effectively to technicians, ensuring expectations, priorities, and turnaround requirements are understood
- Monitor daily progress and adjust workflow as needed to keep cases moving and address shifting priorities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for technicians, admin, QA, and other departments regarding denture case flow, requirements, and production concerns
- Support and coach technicians by answering questions, clarifying expectations, and helping maintain consistent standards
- Identify workflow issues, communication gaps, recurring production concerns, and opportunities for process improvement
- Coordinate with QA and other departments to resolve case issues, adjustments, remakes, and priority concerns
- Help maintain a productive, organized, and professional work environment within the denture department
- Escalate concerns to management when needed and assist with follow-up on quality, productivity, staffing, or workflow issues
Qualifications
- Dental Technology or Denturism diploma
- 5 years or more of denture experience
- 2 years or more leadership experience
- Effective communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English
- Experience with implants considered an asset
- Designing cast frames considered an asset
- 3shape and Exocad for removables considered an asset
- Laser welding considered an asset
