Responsibilities
- Design and produce drawings for fabrication
- Prepare proposal drawings for customers
- Interface with Customers, Sales and Production
- Be able to perform Engineering Calculations to verify designs
- Be the main contact between the company and various agencies, such as APEGA, Transport Canada, Intertek, etc.
- Maintain records for all designs and drawings
- Occasional visit to customers
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a P. Eng. designation from APEGA or a well advanced E.I.T. close the become a P.Eng.
- Experience in fabrication and assembly techniques
- Autodesk Inventor or equivalent CAD skills
- PC based computer skills, particularly with Excel and other Office suite
- Able to program or modify programs for P.LC.s
- Successful candidate will have to pass medical and drug testing
