Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency with POS systems such as Auphan. This role offers an opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests while working in a fast-paced environment that values professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality. The position requires a solid understanding of food safety, food handling, and cash handling procedures, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service
- Use POS systems like Micros to process orders, payments, and refunds accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
- Uphold all health and safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
Experience
- Prior experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as auphan or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and responsible serving policies
- Proven ability in cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in the food industry or food service environment is a plus
