Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landscaping Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing bids, and collaborating closely with clients and project teams. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating, pricing strategies, and project management within the landscaping industry. The Landscaping Estimator will play a vital role in securing new projects and ensuring profitable execution of ongoing work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive project estimates for landscaping projects, including site preparation, planting, irrigation, and hardscaping.
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately assess scope of work.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms that align with project budgets.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, market trends, and new materials or techniques relevant to landscaping projects.
Skills
- Experience in construction estimating with a focus on landscaping or related fields and asset but can train the right individual.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials pricing, and labor costs.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
