Registered Nurse- PART-TIME
Job Summary
Our professional, team oriented, and patient focused dental surgery practice is looking for an outstanding part - time Registered Nurse to join our practice in midtown Toronto!
We are looking for an experienced RN who is motivated, has a strong sense of responsibility, great communication skills and wants to be part of a close-knit team who enjoys what they do - and do it well!

Responsibilities:
- Administer Narcotics and other associated drugs as directed by the surgeon.
- Fully monitor and manage recovery of the patient.
- Set up and prepare for surgery.
- Keep the clinical areas and all equipment organized and sterile according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures.
- Accurately complete patient clinical records.
- Comply with Health and Safety rules and guidance, infection control and ensure safe disposal of sharps and waste.
- Ensure records are accurately maintained.
- Attend training as may be required to develop skills and abilities.
- Update training for medical emergencies
- Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
Minimum Requirements:
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent experience
- Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience:
- Oral Surgery Experience beneficial
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills to prepare reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A sound knowledge of nursing
- Well organized and disciplined manner of working
- Efficient in patient care as well as management skills
Required Licenses
- Nursing (Required)
- CPR (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
- PALS (Not required but recommended)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
