Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. You will interact with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences, delivering exceptional customer service while creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the health and condition of pets before grooming, identifying any potential issues that may require attention.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Build rapport with pet owners by providing excellent customer service, addressing their concerns, and offering grooming advice.
- Handle pets safely and comfortably during the grooming process, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Assist in lifting larger pets or those that may require additional support during grooming sessions.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to effectively communicate with pet owners and provide them with a positive experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or assisting with mobility-challenged pets.
