DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering skill development and maintaining high performance
- Develop and implement QA strategies, test plans, and processes to meet project and product goals
- Oversee the design, execution, and documentation of test cases, ensuring thorough testing of products and features
- Track and prioritize defects, coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution, and verify fixes
- Identify inefficiencies in QA processes and implement improvements to enhance quality and productivity
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with product releases, ensuring potential issues are addressed before deployment
- Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining high quality and safety
- Maintain ISO certification requirements and documentation updates, and manage regular audits
- Respond to customer feedback and quality issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability
- Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to align on quality goals and ensure seamless product delivery
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
- Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
- Any other operation related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in quality field
- Less experience can be considered as Engineer
- Experience managing customer base from a quality perspective, proficiency in problem-solving and customer response.
- Problem-solving ability in a production environment, team leadership utilizing problem-solving and statistical techniques.
- Familiar with APQP tools and six sigma techniques (PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Capability study, DOE)
- Quality and Continuous Improvement mindset
- Analytical / data driven
- Ability to work under pressure and bind a team together (production, engineering, quality, and other support)
- QMS auditor training/experience is an asset
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently.
