Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to foster a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or food industry roles such as barista or hotel experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food presentation
- Lead and motivate team members, including food prep and cooking, interviewing and onboarding new staff
- Perform and Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to maintain safety standards
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train staff on food service protocols, hospitality standards, and operational procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment aligned with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or related hospitality roles, including supervising teams and managing restaurant operations
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant personnel
- Background in food service, hospitality, or the food industry; hotel or barista experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and kitchen experience preferred
