We're looking for full-time and part-time Short Order Cook & Cashiers to join our team at The Loft upstairs in the Leduc Rec Center. If you have experience in the food industry, are self-motivated, and have good work ethic, we'd like to hear from you.
Work Setting: Kitchen and Catering
Location: The Leduc Recreation Centre (Leduc, Alberta)
Transportation: Must provide own transportation
Duties include but aren't limited to: Taking orders, preparing and cooking food. Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment. Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas. Dispose of garbage and trash, handle and use cleaning products, sweep and mop floors, replenish condiments and other supplies, and wash dishes and other items.
Weight Handling: Up 30 lbs.
Essential Skills: Speaking, reading, & writing English, working with others in a team environment, working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high standard of safety and sanitation, and demonstrating industry-standard food preparation.
Qualifications
- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Experience in food service and handling
- Previous work in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
Requirements: Cashiers are required to be of legal age because The Loft is a fully licensed business that serves alcohol.
Education: No degree or diploma is required
Wage: $16.00/Hour - $22.00/Hour.
