Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Appliance Delivery Helper to assist with the safe and efficient delivery of appliances to customers' homes. This role involves supporting delivery drivers, handling appliances, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers in transporting appliances from the warehouse to customer locations
- Load and unload appliances carefully to prevent damage
- Help position and install appliances as needed, following safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and ensuring satisfaction during delivery
- Support with basic appliance setup, including connecting electrical or mechanical components when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery equipment and work area
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of protective gear
Requirements
- Prior electrical experience or mechanical knowledge is preferred
- Familiarity with appliance repair, schematics, or HVAC systems is a plus
- Experience with assembly or installation of appliances is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy appliances safely
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and attention to detail
Pay: $17.20-$23.82 per hour
