WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're an experienced sushi maker who takes pride in doing things right, moves with purpose, and doesn't need to be told twice.
This is a hands-on, high-volume kitchen role. The work is fast, physical, and detail-driven, and you need to be someone who finds satisfaction in doing it well, not someone just looking to fill a shift. Punctual, open to feedback, and a great attitude on a team are non-negotiable.

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You'll provide world-class service to guests, greet everyone who walks in, learn and prepare our full menu including sushi and fried items, plate food to a high visual standard, set up and stock your station, break it down at the end of your shift, solve problems on the spot to keep service smooth, and keep inventory of ingredients and takeout containers.
The standard doesn't drop because it's a Tuesday or because the rush caught you off guard. You hold it regardless.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years sushi making experience — required
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Detail-oriented in prep, plating, and station organization
- Reliable, punctual, and genuinely team-oriented
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Understanding of food safety and professionalism
- Clear communicator in English
- Post-secondary education an asset
- Legal work status in Manitoba (we can support work-permit holders pursuing PR)
Full-time, 30–40 hours/week.
Full availability preferred; weekend work expected.
Must supply own chef tools, have a cell phone, and have reliable transportation or a valid driver's license.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift over 50 lbs.
