Position Summary
Paragon Auto Mall is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. The Candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools efficiently and accurately.
- Complete repair orders and service documentation.
- Ensure all work is performed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Identify additional repair and maintenance needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Automotive Service Technician certification
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domestic, import, and luxury vehicles.
- Experience using computerized diagnostic systems.
- OMVIC and dealership experience considered an asset.
