Job Summary
Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, organized, and available to support exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, and wear; remove damaged items from circulation.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
- Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution and collection as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly.
- Adhere to Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand standards and hotel policies.
- Support other housekeeping duties when required.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts Saturday & Sunday
- Morning, weekend, and holiday availability will be required
