Responsibilities
As a General Labourer, you will assist with surface preparation and sandblasting operations while supporting industrial painting and coating activities on an active worksite. Responsibilities include performing general labour and site cleanup duties, safely using hand tools and equipment, handling and moving materials as required, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will be expected to follow all site safety procedures and company policies, participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings, and work cooperatively with supervisors and crew members to support efficient and safe project operations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have previous industrial painting or coating experience and possess a valid WHMIS certification. Applicants must be able to safely use hand tools and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures. Reliable transportation is required, as candidates are responsible for their own travel to and from the worksite. The ideal candidate will be dependable, physically capable of performing demanding labour tasks, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in an industrial environment.
