Delta Contracting Ltd in Fort Chipewyan Alberta is looking to hire a Full-Time Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of diesel and gas powered vehicles and heavy equipment.

Full-Time hours with competitive wages offered
Must Have:
· Journeyman Status
· Valid Class 5 drivers licence minimum
· Willing to work remote
· Welding experience is a bonus
Job Description and Duties
· Inspect vehicles and equipment for defects and fluid levels
· Perform on-site emergency maintenance with company provided vehicle
· Provide routine maintenance, adjustment, and repair on all gasoline and diesel powered vehicles and machines including: bulldozers, excavators, hydraulics, winches, compressors, pumps, generators, and any other mechanical components
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance including:
· Checking all vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure proper performance, Performing inspections to detect faults and malfunctions
· Diagnosing defects in heavy duty equipment
· Maintain detailed and accurate service records and documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
