Business Development Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (On-site)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow Fulfillment & Distribution business across Canada
- Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, including cold-calling and pipeline development
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and onboarding
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to drive retention and increased share of business
- Prepare and present pricing, quotations, and service proposals; collaborate internally on execution plans
- Negotiate commercial terms with customers and carriers to maximize revenue and profitability
- Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates in CRM and internal systems
- Engage prospects and clients through multiple communication channels
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
- (experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with proactive outbound sales, including cold-calling
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; CRM experience required; Power BI is an asset
- High level of ownership, accountability, and a results-driven mindset
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics and supply chain industry
