Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable hands on team member to work in our Lavender Farm Store and assist in production. You would be responsible to assist with the day-to day operations and help create a good guest experience. This position combines retail, product production, hospitality, seasonal garden work and assistance in the B&B.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and engaging in friendly conversations about our lavender products and farm activities
- Assist customers with product selections to enhance their experience
- Welcome and assist B&B guests, provide a warm and inviting atmosphere
- May be asked to assist with breakfast clean-up in the B&B and cleaning rooms
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight seasonal products and promotional items
- Assist with harvesting herbs and other plants from the on-site garden.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to speak french would be an asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, basic math skills, cashiering and opening/ closing and cleaning duties
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to balance store duties with farm production tasks
- In the summer season - assist with festivals and events on site
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
