Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Landscaping Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee our construction division. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating projects, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage multiple landscape construction crews and projects simultaneously
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including materials, equipment, and labor
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure accurate execution
- Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and internal teams
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
- Enforce health and safety policies and promote a culture of safety on all job sites
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, making adjustments as needed
- Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to build a high-performing team
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues proactively
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction, with leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of landscaping construction practices (hardscape, softscape, grading, irrigation, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
- Experience operating landscaping equipment is an asset
