Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager with payroll experience to lead our HR activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and payroll administration. This role requires strong and diverse experience with organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
-Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
-Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
-Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management processes.
-Payroll Administration:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
-HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
-HR Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform management decisions.
- Maintain employee records and recommendation of systems.
Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in HR beyond recruitment, and strong experience with payroll.
- Thorough knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP or other).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
