Southwest Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and motivated Client Service Representative to join our team!
Interested in a new and growing urgent care practice for partnered clinics? You will be working with a small group of local DVMs passionate about offering additional after hours care for their clients and patients in SW Ontario!
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the vision of Southwest Veterinary Hospital and put your mark on it! Operating out of our host clinic, hours of operation will be Friday 6pm open 24 hours until Monday at 8am to expand to 24/7 and new facility with the help of your exceptional client care and growth mindset!!
Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
- Triage patients over the phone with assistance from RVT if needed
- Schedule appointments
- Respond to and manage email correspondence
- Obtain pet owner information
- Utilize excellent customer service skills
- Maintain cleanliness of reception and common areas
- Maintain composure in stressful situations and emergencies
- Assist RVT and DVM when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary office or medical program or certification is beneficial but not required if experienced in this field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Proficient in using veterinary software and computer systems
- Physical stamina to lift and restrain animals of various sizes
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous veterinary emergency experience an asset
