Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our logistics team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient movement of goods through accurate shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems, along with the ability to operate various equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting e-commerce and warehouse distribution operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment
- Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking orders and packaging products
- Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and document receipt using warehouse management systems (WMS) or MRP systems such as AS400
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods
- Assist with order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packing for shipment
- Operate order picker equipment to retrieve items from high shelves or hard-to-reach areas
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented for delivery or storage
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping & receiving operations
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, or AS400 is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Basic understanding of warehouse distribution processes, order fulfillment, and e-commerce logistics
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Valid certification for forklift operation is preferred but not required

Pay: $17.39-$19.50 per hour
