Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Siding installer / Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a construction or maintenance environment. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Skilled Laborer will be responsible for executing various tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Duties
- Cut and install siding, flashings, and trim.
- Perform maintenance person tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance work.
- Build structures or frameworks using wood, metal, or other materials as required.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as, trimming, and finishing work.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in various structures for insulation and protection.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks, ensuring proper maintenance of tools.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed throughout the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential for understanding project layouts.
- Experience as a siding installer or carpenter is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required.
- Proficiency with hand tools and knowledge of their proper usage is necessary.
- Good with heights
