Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly hands-on and detail-oriented R&D Systems Validation Specialist to join our R&D team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and robustness of our advanced embedded and RF-integrated systems across lab and field environments.
The primary responsibility of this role is to:
Independently design, organize, and execute structured test plans based on system requirements, engineering principles, and real-world use cases—ultimately validating the performance, reliability, and robustness of the product.
You will be involved in functional testing, performance validation, and field/environmental testing for full systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze product architecture and technical specifications to define effective and layered test plans.
- Execute functional, performance, and environmental validation across embedded systems, RF subsystems, and end-to-end devices.
- Conduct both lab-based and outdoor testing (e.g., long-range RF validation, temperature, weather, and noise conditions).
- Collaborate closely with engineers across hardware, RF, firmware, and software to troubleshoot issues and close the feedback loop.
- Provide customer support, including answering customer inquiries, replicating customer-reported issues, and solving problems in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Document test procedures, observations, and structured reports that guide design iteration and product readiness decisions.
- Contribute to test process optimization, automation efforts, and overall test strategy design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience testing embedded systems or full hardware-software integrated products.
- Familiarity with instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and RF generators.
- Strong understanding of system-level architecture, signal chains, or embedded platform design.
- Proven ability to create well-structured test documentation and communicate clearly with technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to wireless/RF systems such as LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SDR, or drone platforms.
- Ability to script or automate test routines (e.g., Python, Bash, or CI integration).
- Experience with ruggedized hardware or field-deployable systems is a plus.
