Rodan has a full-time opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Calgary-based team. Reporting to the Manager, Data Operations, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Meter Data Management Systems. We will provide you with on the job training, a consistent daily routine and great work experience.


Meter data management services for clients including remote meter interrogation, data collection, verification and posting using the MV-90 meter interrogation software
Schedule MV-90 meter interrogation cycles, ensuring availability of metered data and avoiding conflict with AESO reading cycles
Operate a proprietary municipality utility billing engine
Maintain metering database, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of the data
Preparation of energy management reports
Assist engineering and field staff as needed
Back-up support to Data Operations Manager
Other duties as required

Post-secondary education at an accredited college/ university
Prior related work experience ideally in utility metering or billing
Data collection and/or settlement system experience; use of MV-90 software is an asset
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel with ability to learn and operate new software platforms
Previous database experience, particularly Access
Process orientated and comfortable performing complex tasks that follow a prescribed procedure
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing and problem solving with attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Basic understanding of electrical metering data and systems would be ideal
