Lead and develop a team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
Achieving set operation and sales goals.
Overseeing the daily operations of all store functions.
Overseeing Maintenance of all local equipment, vehicles, and buildings to ensure we are complaint and in good working order.
Manage day-to-day operations of warehouse, including receiving, shipping, transfers, restocking and inventory requirements.
Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
Work with Department Managers to prioritize, communicate and resolve any shipping, receiving, warehouse or inventory issues.
Developing ongoing relations with customer of Herman’s Supply Company and our Suppliers.
Proactively driving sales, through existing customer growth and/or generating new prospects ad leads.
Providing customer pricing & quotes.
Processing inbound orders, via In-store, Email, Phone, & Text
Managing inbound customer calls.
Managing and developing an assigned customer base using our CRM.
Working with logistic to meet customer demands and requirements.
Meet or exceed sales goals while driving a strong customer experience.
Handle customer complaints in a positive and constructive manner.
Review and verify proper material is loaded and delivered and complete associated shipping paperwork.
Become highly knowledgeable in all products. Attend training courses as required by management in relation to store procedures, and products.
Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
Ship material to customers picking up. Safety place material in vehicles.
Strictly adhere to and comply with all MTO rules, regulations, and legislation.
Successful team members must have:
College Diploma or Bachelor Degree
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
Forklift license required (In House Course Available)
Strong leadership abilities
5-10 years Warehouse supervisor experience preferred
5-10 years in building material industry
Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under time constraints
Have a valid G license, clean abstract, and clean CVOR
Have a strong customer service attitude and enjoy interacting with customers
Intermediate to advanced analytical skills
Ability to build working relationships
Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office suite
You will be active and on your feet in this position
Ability to lift 80-100 lbs
Provide a clean police background check
Knowledge of Commercial vehicle & forklift maintenance/repair an asset
