We seek a Business Law Legal Assistant on behalf of a progressive and vibrant mid-sized law firm in downtown Victoria. As the successful candidate for this opportunity, you are a confident individual with progressive experience as an LAA in corporate/commercial.

Responsibilities:
- Drafting and revising legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with client intake, file management, and communication
- Providing administrative support on corporate/commercial transactions
- Handling some routine transactions, with support from others
- Tracking and following up on deliverables
- Conducting registry searches and other due diligence matters
- Scheduling and managing calendars
- Assisting with marketing initiatives as required (e.g. blogs, webinars)
- Assisting with closing matters
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience managing a business law practice
- Completion of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program
- Collegial, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Tech savvy with advanced computer skills
- Confident and motivated, with meticulous attention to detail
Compensation: the base salary for this role is expected to be in the range of $60,000 - $78,000, depending on individual experience and qualifications
