Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring windows and doors in residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and good work ethics.
Duties
- Assist the lead installer in installing new windows and doors according to project specifications and blueprints
- Remove old or damaged windows and doors safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and caulking guns to ensure precise installation
- Apply caulking to seal gaps and improve insulation efficiency
- Perform restoration work on existing installations, including repairs and upgrades
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with loading and unloading the products, and cleaning the job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, carpentry, and construction practices
- Familiarity with windows & doors installation is an ASSET
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is highly desirable
