We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Halton Hills Academy.
As an Occupational Therapist at Halton Hills Academy (sister company of Turning Point Children's Therapy) you will become a member of our interdisciplinary clinical team which includes Speech-Language Pathologists, ABA therapists and clinicians.

The ideal candidate possesses:
- Current registration in good standing with The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario is required.
- 2–4 years of Occupational Therapy experience in a pediatric setting is considered an asset.
- Experience assessing and treating children in two or more of the following areas is considered an asset:
- Sensory processing differences and sensory regulation
- Feeding therapy and oral motor development
- Handwriting development and intervention
- Fine motor, gross motor, and motor coordination challenges
- Neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)
- Interoception, self-regulation, and toileting support
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct pediatric Occupational Therapy assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide evidence-informed therapy sessions
- Complete Occupational Therapy reports and clinical documentation
- Provide parent education, coaching, and home programming
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs)
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to program development
- Maintain positive relationships with families, clients, and colleagues
Experience:
- Autism: 2 years (preferred)
