Your Role
As an Accounting and Administrative Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of administrative, financial, and front-desk activities at our plant. You will actively contribute to daily operations by ensuring rigorous management of accounts payable, communications, and administrative services, while collaborating closely with multiple internal teams and external partners.
This position is based at our Saint-Hyacinthe plant and is an on-site role.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

Welcome visitors and provide professional front-desk service

Answer phone calls and general emails

Manage access cards, mail, office supplies, and shipments

Coordinate administrative activities related to uniforms, plant visits, and internal communications

Process accounts payable, invoices, and occasional payments

Follow up on vendor files and process certain requests via supplier portals (e.g., Taulia)

Compile and analyze financial data to support administrative and accounting follow-ups

Provide administrative support to various teams based on operational needs
What You Need to Join Our Team

College diploma (DEC) in Accounting or Administration (accounting profile strongly preferred)

2 to 5 years of experience in a role combining administration and accounting

Experience in accounts payable, invoicing, or invoice processing

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills

Experience with an ERP system (SAP is considered a strong asset)

Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)

Bilingualism is essential: regular interaction and communication with various stakeholders and suppliers
