Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic, results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in Edmonton. In this role, you will be the face of our community, guiding prospective residents through the entire leasing journey from initial inquiry to move-in day. The ideal candidate possesses excellent sales skills, outstanding customer service, and a passion for hitting occupancy targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Leasing: Conduct property tours, highlight community amenities, overcome objections, and close leasing opportunities to meet monthly occupancy goals.
- Lead Management: Promptly respond to all phone, email, and walk-in inquiries using our property management software CRM.
- Applicant Processing: Guide prospective tenants through the application process, prepare application form for the prospective tenants.
- Retention & Renewals: Build positive relationships with current residents to encourage community engagement and drive high lease renewal rates.
- Market Research: Monitor local Edmonton rental market trends, analyze competitor pricing, and suggest proactive marketing or promotional strategy changes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in residential leasing.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport quickly.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings to accommodate peak viewing times.
