Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Housekeeper/Mother’s Helper to assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. As a vital member of our household team, you will help ensure that daily routines run smoothly while offering assistance with household chores and caring for children when needed. The family has two children ages 2.5 and 4.5 years old.
HOURS: Tues/Wedns/Thurs 2-8 pm
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing to maintain a pristine environment
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing and linens
- Prepare dinner in accordance with household preferences and dietary needs
- Assist with childcare responsibilities after school, transitioning to nightime routine
- Maintain household supplies by monitoring inventory levels and restocking essentials proactively
- Communicate effectively with household members to coordinate schedules and address any specific requests or concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred
- Strong skills in cooking, laundry, and general household organization
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform cleaning duties with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Outstanding communication skills to interact positively with family members and other household staff
- Reliability, discretion, and a warm, friendly demeanor suitable for working in a family environment
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 per week
