Duties
- Communicate with kitchen staff .
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed to maintain high standards of food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly after use.
- Serve customers with a positive attitude!
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Adhere to health regulations and cleanliness standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive and mature attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and kitchen maintenance.
- Critical thinking and problem solving attributes.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to menu changes as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
- Ability to speak fluent English.
- Ability to deal with payments in a safe and responsible manner.
