We are hiring Prep Cooks / Banquet Cook to join our crew! Ideally, we are looking for seasoned cooks with passion for cooking and culinary arts. You must be able to handle working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. The successful candidate should be able to work well with others, have a positive attitude and communicate well.

Schedule
- Full-time/Part-time seasonal position
- Primarily Thursday through Sunday

Key Responsibilities:
- Capability to adhere to the chef's spoken and written directions for preparing food and finishing dishes in line with quality expectations
- Assist with set up - equipment, food, and supplies
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained
- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, event managers, and service staff
- Ability to perform and communicate well during busy service
- Organize and prioritize prep tasks to meet event timelines
- Assist with event teardown and return of equipment to the main kitchen
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Minimum 2+ years of professional kitchen, catering, banquet, or restaurant experience
- Previous banquet or catering experience is strongly preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Must have chef hat
- Must legally be entitled to work in Canada and currently live in Winnipeg and/or surrounding area
