Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Support food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional prep work or cleaning tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or food industry roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
