We are currently seeking an experienced Service Leaders to join us at The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar in Langley!
Our Services Leaders ensures all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the service teams by example and in a supervisory and supportive capacity
- Making guests feel welcome and creating memorable experiences
- Providing exceptional, friendly customer service
- Great product knowledge
- Responsible Beverage Service in accordance with Serving it Right
- Maintaining cleanliness and environment standards of the Brewpub
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure organizational goals are met
- Troubleshooting issues that arise across the Brewpub effectively
- Coaching and reporting on team performance
- Resolve customer complaints, requests and queries
- Monitoring, contributing to, and acting on key performance indicators and other targets
- Other duties as required
Working Conditions:
- Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Full and part-time opportunities available
Requirements:
- Previous FOH experience working as a Server or Bartender, prior Service Leader/MOD experience considered a strong asset!
- Valid Serving It Right Certification
- First Aid Level 1 is an asset, but not required
- Strong team management and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
