Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our bakery team as a Dough Sheeter. This role is essential in ensuring the consistent quality and smooth production of baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, baking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Operate dough sheeting equipment to produce uniform dough sheets for various baked products
- Assist in preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Ensure all dough is processed according to safety and quality standards
- Support food handling procedures, including proper packaging of finished products
- Maintain equipment and work area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food preparation and kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in baking, food preparation, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Basic understanding of the food industry, including bakery processes and packaging methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Experience with cake decorating, restaurant service, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills related to baking, food safety, and kitchen operations
Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
