The Waterfront River Pub and Terrace is a 150 person licensed gastro pub serving solid traditional Canadian fare as well more inventive and leading edge cuisine. We are completely scratch made.

We're looking for a Leader
As the Executive Head Chef, you are responsible for the leadership and management of a dedicated culinary team to create and execute a memorable dining experience for all guests of The Waterfront. Successfully mastering this position requires a commitment to building, training and coaching a successful team and exhibiting leadership on the line. You achieve excellence by maximizing profitability and elevating guest satisfaction, by using your culinary expertise in unique product development and menu creation, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and food cost and by leading your people to deliver consistent, exceptional food quality.
You understand the importance of people and value both the individual and the work. You manage a clean and sparkling kitchen and space and work with the leadership team to contribute ideas and improvements.
You have exceptional time management and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate has 5 plus years of experience, completion of formal technical training and Red Seal qualification or equivalent experience.
