What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities located in Toronto, ON is looking to hire a Branch Operations Assistant. You will be supporting a large RBC DS branch by processing branch transactions in an efficient and professional manner. This role is entirely administrative and requires the ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure of tight deadlines, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
What will you do?
Proof-read, review and process daily branch transactions to ensure transactions have been entered accurately, all necessary departmental approvals have been obtained and Internal Controls have been followed. Daily branch transactions include: bank wires and EFTs, cheque preparation, cheque and certificate deposits, documentation review and scanning
Liaise with back office contacts to investigate and resolve inquiries related to account transactions
Cover reception and mail clerk duties as needed
Greet clients in-person and on the phone in a professional manner
Assist with branch compliance projects
