Responsibilities:
The Microsoft Endpoint Manager Principal Consultant role helps Design and oversee the delivery security solutions tailored toward protecting the endpoint. This role is client facing and leads the client through features and requirements gathering workshops.
You must have a deep working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, or SCCM:
- Comfortable with Design presentations and workshops
- Deploying operating systems via Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) to an enterprise environment.
- Managing MEM collections, packages, applications, drivers, task sequences and images, boot media creation.
- Troubleshooting MEM deployment failures, task sequence problems, Windows errors and MEM component errors.
- Scripting expertise in PowerShell, KQL and VBScript.
- Working knowledge of the Autopilot image delivery mechanism.
- Strong knowledge of the end to end process of OSD including configuration and customization of OSD and MDT.
- Windows Administration and support of Windows operating systems issues, applications, compatibility issues, debugging system crashes.
- Working knowledge of Windows security fundamentals
- Overall exceptional understanding of the Windows O/S including current Microsoft release Semi Annual Channel architecture, Group Policy Objects, Group Policy Preferences and UEM policies.
Knowledge of other Microsoft and Azure solutions is a major asset, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Teams, SharePoint, Sentinel, etc..
- Ensure accurate and timely requirements ilicitation and Design capture, define project goals and accurately define deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop design, build and configuration documents.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure complete scope delivery and high client satisfaction
- Ability to work in client environments, and to work on multiple projects simultaneously, is required
- Provide post cutover escalation support to Sr. Consultants after every major change control
- Provide training to clients or our internal HyperCare team on solutions deployed, as needed
- Maintain all Microsoft certifications attained, and build a roadmap to add more industry certifications as you grow with experience
- Maintain the Crucialogics lab and be part of the setup, teardown and maintenance of cloud resources as project come and go
- Work on initiatives both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent customer relations capabilities, couple with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
Position Requirements:
- University degree, college diploma or demonstrable experience in the field of Information Technology.
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct work experience in deploy Microsoft endpoint management technologies (MEM, Intune)
- 1+ years of direct work experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoints, M365 Defender
- 5+ years design and working experience with SCCM is an asset
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Customer service skills is required.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Relevant Microsoft certifications like MD-101 series, 70-703, 40560-G, Az-500, MSCE, would be an advantage
Work Conditions:
- Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
- Able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
- Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
